Please explain why its not recommended to change default database position? I keep my programs on a different disc to my operating system because I use a small SSD.

Default database location is 'Documents' folder. By keeping it near your docs you'll remember where your DB is stored.
But it is possible to move DB in any place.

Edit items in the list page instead of double click to a new edit window

Add the ability to the list page for some frequent changing of data for a lot of items, like rating, numbers, names, date.

Make this a web app, so that the database can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection. You can use a paid or ad-supported subscription model.

This is good idea, and we know about it.
WebApp is good thing, but it has own pluses and minuses.
Myself, i prefer to have DB without any Internet connection and incidental issues.

Links added can be clicked to open in default browser. Have a plain text category if don't want to have autolinks.

Use web search to add information other than just images. Scan disks/discs for media files. Modify templates to make them applicable to the item for which they are meant to be used, for example, add ISBN field to books templates. Allow multiple it

feature request invokes mail client

when clicked on help/feature request. it will invoke a mail client, I don't use a mail client, so how can i communicate with them?

Feature request is a usual email to our support. This is only one way to communicate and send your requests.

Make the source files available to be able to translate the program into another language. Add a feature to enable custom/more styles.

when creating movies database, lookup on amazon images are too small, add IMDB

when in movies database i want to look up the movie i get option on eBay or Amazon, the return query shows images of the cover, but they are to small to really see the differences among them. Why not add IMDB, i guess the main movies authority...

for music and movies, scann drives and give an option what items to add the items

at the same can weed out duplicates. then option to look up on the internet for complete information on albums or movies. same for coins , post stamps and other collectable items that are common on the net

have a possibilities to have rent / lease items from collections to others and keep track of stock as well who has it.

put up rare callectable items for exchange or sale

if you collect coins stamps or other items, have duplicates or items that you willing to trade for something else, then you could place the items for auction or collaboration with others. let say i have 10 of 5DM banknotes, and i would change it...

Print Preview is too small

Stand Alone Template Editor

Rather than having to create a new data base an edit an existing template have an option to create a template from scratch. This would make sharing templates with other users much easier.

Allow more options for printing

Ability to print multiple or all data base items. Option to select what sections of a data base item gets printed.

Add print command to the menu

The print command should be added to the file or tools menu. I only found this by right clicking on a selected item.
